What are “Nature Conversations”?

As a participant in Nature Conversations, you are invited into a safe space to share experiences, thoughts, and feelings connected to the ongoing ecological crisis.

The conversations are based on the understanding that feeling anxiety in response to the ongoing ecological crisis is a healthy reaction to a real problem. We hope that shared reflection can help you feel less alone and support emotionally sustainable engagement.

Nature Conversations were first held in autumn 2024 in both Oslo and Trondheim. In spring 2025, we followed up the success in both cities. For autumn 2026, the dates have not yet been set, but you can already sign up now.

Nature Conversations are held weekly over a period of 3–5 weeks. Each gathering will have a theme (emotions, responsibility, relationships, etc.) and include a check-in, an exploratory group conversation, and a reflection exercise. The meetings are facilitated by two professionals and last 1.5 hours. Participation is free, and light refreshments are provided.
